Concrete services in Lago Vista
Lago Vista is one of our favorite areas to work. The lot sizes are larger, the homes are often custom, and the projects are usually interesting — long driveways down steep grades, RV pads, boat house slabs, and outdoor entertaining spaces that take advantage of the Lake Travis views.
Common Lago Vista projects:
- Long driveways on the lots off Bar K Ranch Road and along the golf course
- Boat house foundations and dock approaches
- RV and boat pads
- Lake house foundations (often on piers due to the slope)
- Outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and stamped patios
- Retaining walls on the sloped lakefront lots
Lago Vista-specific considerations
Slope. Almost every Lago Vista lot has significant slope. We use pumps for most pours and stage the concrete carefully. Slabs often need to be tiered, with retaining walls integrated into the design.
Access. Many Lago Vista properties have narrow or steep driveways. We have low-impact track equipment and small line pumps for tight access jobs.
POA approval. Lago Vista POA and several of the smaller lakefront associations have their own architectural review. We are happy to provide the drawings and specifications you need for submittal.
Drainage. The Hill Country downpours put serious hydraulic load on Lago Vista properties. We design every slab and wall with positive drainage away from structures.
Recent Lago Vista projects
- Bar K Ranch Road — 600-foot long driveway on a 2-acre lot, broom finish with a stamped border
- Lago Vista Country Club Estates — pool deck, outdoor kitchen slab, and a 60-foot poured retaining wall
- Highland Lake — lakefront patio with a stamped ashlar pattern and a matching walkway to the boat dock
- Point Venture-adjacent lots — boat house foundation and rip-rap tie-in
Pricing for Lago Vista projects
Distance is a real factor for Lago Vista — we are 12 miles from our Lakeway base — but the bigger drivers are slope, access, and the type of structure. Pumped concrete adds about $200–$400 per pour, and track equipment rental for tight access is a few hundred more.
We will tell you on the first visit whether the project makes sense as a quote or as a discussion. Either way, the visit is free.
